Alton's exclusive super strong cladding:
- All Alton Garden Buildings and Modern Garden Offices
feature exclusive 21mm thick, kiln dried Nordic spruce external
cladding. The unique finish is brushed to enhance the natural
veining of wood and painted in your choice of colour before assembly,
overcoming the possibility of a stripe effect that occurs when
inferior cladding shrinks.
- Alton's natural good looks are guaranteed for 10 years. The
clever construction ensures no nail holes are visible, yet it's
the durability of Alton's cladding that will stand the test of
time as it includes fungicide, insecticide and is resistant to
moisture.
- The fine grained, homogenous wood type has excellent dimensional
stability and is already in use on major house building projects
throughout Europe.
All Alton Garden Buildings include a 10-year cladding material,
finish and structural guarantee. If any part of your cladding
rots or decays within ten years of purchase, Alton will replace
it promptly and free of charge. This free guarantee is in addition
to your statutory rights.
NB - the 10-year guarantee does not cover timber doors, windows
and mouldings where the paint finish is subject to usual regular
maintenance.

The lower ridge is achieved thanks to a shallower roof pitch featuring
your choice of felt tiled roof colours. Beneath its distinctive
roof, the Farringdon boasts a host of features as standard. Built
to last, the natural, super thick external cladding is guaranteed
for ten years for both material and finish.
Inside, the walls and ceiling are lined with painted and patterned
MDF, plus an attractive laminated floor is included. The Farringdon
will prove to be an ideal garden building with seemingly endless
possibilities, even before you begin to explore the optional upgrades.

The traditionally shaped Berkeley is available with a choice of
cedar slatted or a cedar shingle roof that provides equally stunning
yet visually different gardens.
Choose one of the many size options available to ensure you can
meet all your garden needs. The straight sides are ideal for positioning
tables and other furniture, which together with the electric pack
upgrade enables an easy transformation into a home office or hobby
room.
However you decide to use your Berkeley, you can rest assured that
its built to last and includes a high specification as standard.

The attractive octagonal shape enhanced by the cedar shingle roof
ensures the distinctive style of the Mayfair suits any garden setting.
Available in a choice of sizes to suit your garden or space requirements,
the Mayfair's standard features a host of benefits unique to Alton
including the super thick cladding, internal lining and oak laminated
floor.
Upgrades are also available including insulation and double glazing
to help regulate the temperature and provide all year around comfort.
You may also wish to add power to your back garden building by taking
advantage of the electric power option.

Garden Building Options:
There are many ways to personalise your Garden Room to ensure
it meets your needs. Many of our options are shown below, but
if your desired option isn't shown, let us know and we will try
our hardest to meet your requirements.
Electric Pack (additional cost option) Add power to your
building by specifying our electric pack: two white flush mounted
double sockets, pull chord light switch and light fixing point
for you to connect your own light fitting to. Final electrical
connection to mains must be by qualified electrician.
Optional upgrade from white to chrome effect or brass sockets
and light switch are available.
External Cladding Colours Alton's Garden Room's super-strong
Nordic Spruce, 21mm external cladding is kiln dried, finger-jointed,
profiled and brushed to enhance the natural veining. It is then
painted in your choice of colour before assembly, overcoming the
stripe effect that occurs with inferior cladding due to shrinkage.
There are five attractive cladding colours to choose from - Fern
Green, Buttermilk, Tranquil Blue, Alton Green and Moss Green
Roof Options The Berkeley is available with the choice
of a cedar slatted roof or a pressure treated cedar shingle roof
that provide equally stunning yet visually different buildings.
Both options are constructed onto a fully mineral felted, timber
roof.
The distinctive Farringdon roof is available with a choice of
felt tile roof colours- Stone Grey, Two-Tone Black, Forest Green,
Royal Red and Two-Tone Brown.
Long-Line Glazing You can replace Georgian style glazing
if you prefer a single pane of glass with no glazing bars, in
both windows and doors. This option can be specified as single
or double glazed.
Insulation & Double Glazing If you intend using your building
all year round we recommend specifying our insulation and double
glazing options that help regulate building temperature and help
with sound proofing.
Insulation is available to the floor, walls and ceiling using
an effective bubble-filled aluminium foil system, thermally equivalent
to 40mm of mineral wool. This insulation significantly improves
the thermal efficiency of your building by minimising heat transfer
to and from your building to keep it warmer in winter and cooler
in summer.
The benefits of double glazing are well known. So, in order to
reduce heat loss and condensation in addition to creating a quieter
environment, choose double glazing for your garden building's
doors and windows.
Fixtures & Fittings (additional cost option) Chrome effect
fixtures and fittings are available as an alternative to the brass
effect handles and latches included as standard.
Deluxe Laminated Floor (additional cost option) Oak finish
and double thickness for extra resilience and insulation.
